Oscar-winning Director Shoots in Tucson

Sam Mendes, who won an Oscar’s Best Director honors for his film American Beauty, was in Tucson this week shooting for his upcoming comedy starring  John Krasinski (”The Office”) and Maya Rudolph (”Saturday Night Live”).

Tucson 48 Hour Film Shootout rides into town

Yeee haaaa! Saddle up pardners. The 48 Hour Film Shootout is set to ride again this weekend, May 23rd through May 25th. Things start at 6pm at the Loft Cinema. There will be a pre-production meeting on the Loft patio where teams can sign in/up and receive their elements. It should be a good time (and exhausting). Hope to see you there.
